In December of 2003, DJ Pill (a.k.a Daniel Pillar), as the local music guru, was asked to DJ at his younger friend's graduation party. Thinking it could be a cool thing to try, he took his music collection along, played the music and mc'd the night, and the crowd had an absolutely fantastic time. But they weren't the only ones that enjoyed themselves - it was that evening that Daniel's passion for DJ'ing was born.
The following year he began DJ'ing at local school discos, and before long he found himself providing the music for birthday parties, weddings, and a huge range of other events. He enjoys listening to a huge variety of music, from top 40 to techno to old time favourites, and always selects a range of music appropriate to the crowd he's playing for.
